Personally I don't condemn Hon Mthandeni for the decision he took to apologize to the King .
It is difficult for us to condemn him not knowing how he finally came to that decision given that the regime was desperately looking for someone who would "clean" the Kings name by justifying that they were justly convicted of mass murder charges which off course was a great embarrassment to King who issued the order to kill civilians, being so desperate they could do anything to force him to apologize and admit that indeed they're murderers so that the whole world can justify the action by the King.
Remember a case was opened with the ICC by CDE IB , this confession will nullify this case even we don't know why he doesn't fly outside anymore. I don't rule out any force or and duress or even torture could have been used given that there was once a day when lights were put off and warders bashed them and one of his eyes was severely damaged now he cannot see properly otherwise I don't see him voluntarily agreeing that he murdered so many people and is apologizing for that etfwale tono tenkhosi.
Kungenteka he had to choose between agreeing to be murderer or be murdered.
